Policy Highlights

• To reserve your booking, we require a deposit of $500.00. Your booking is not secure unless your deposit has been received and confirmed.

• You must have a minimum of one member of your party 25 years of age or older to book our cottage. The booking must be under this person’s name and contact information.

• Our property has a maximum of 8 adults and 12 people total.

• A $250 security deposit will be added onto your total reservation amount (after tax) and will be refunded in full directly following a cancellation or the completion of your stay.

• The total reservation amount is due no less than 60 days prior to arrival. Failure to do so will result in a non-refundable deposit and loss of reservation.

• In case of unforeseen circumstances, if we are unable to host you, your deposit will be fully refunded immediately.

• 60 days or more from the arrival date, the deposit will be refunded, less a $250 administration fee.

• 30 days or more from the arrival date, 50% of your total reservation refunded.

• Less than 30 days prior to the arrival date no refund.

• Your security deposit will be refunded no matter the circumstances of cancellation on either party’s side.

• Guests, not showing up at the pre-arranged time and date without giving notice by phone constitutes as a “no show” and will be held liable for 100% of the total value of their reservation.

• Your $250 security deposit will be refunded in full.

• Check-in time 4:00 p.m. Check-out time 10:00 a.m.

• If you arrive sooner, please be prepared to wait. Due to cleaning schedules, there are no options for late checkout.

• Check-in is done through our SmartLock. You will be given a code for your stay 24 hours prior to your check-in time. This code will become active at your check-in time and stay active during the duration of your stay.

• Visitors are restricted during your stay, and absolutely no overnight visitors are allowed.

• The number of people on the premises is limited to the number of people registered during booking.

• Security cameras will be located on both sides of the cottage, pointing towards front entrance, roadways, and waters edge.

• Guests are fully responsible for all damages and losses to cottage amenities, canoes, kayaks, and other equipment, however caused.

• All damages to Eagle’s Aerie Cottage property and/or malfunctioning equipment must be reported immediately.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at our cottage upon approval! If you’re staying here with your furry friend, there are some things we’d like you to help us out with to ensure a smooth stay for everyone.

• Pets may only enter our cottage upon our approval. Any pet not approved by us is subject to a $250 charge per pet following your stay.

• Pets are not to be left unattended inside the cottage unless crated.

• During the night, pets are considered unattended, therefore must be crated.

• Pets are NOT allowed on ANY furniture (sofas, beds, etc.) under any circumstances. If you think you will be unable to keep them off, please do not bring them.

• Pets are NOT allowed in bedrooms under any circumstances. Please keep bedroom doors closed to help with this.

• Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets inside and outside. Any accidents during your stay with your pet may result in up to a $500 fee for professional cleaning.

• Any costs for repair of damages due to your pet will be charged to you in full following your stay.

• Please supervise your pets at all times inside & outside the cottage.

• All garbage you accumulate during your stay must leave the property upon departure. Your party will be provided with a one-time pass for the local dumps. This pass can be found in your welcome basket upon arrival. It allows for 3 garbage bags and unlimited recycling bags. • A fine of $100 will be charged to you for any garbage left behind following your stay.
